Hostel Il Tetto

N/A
Hostel Il Tetto is located in the building of the Diocesan Seminary, constructed in 1625 by Bishop Mons. Scaglia and part of the monumental complex of the Episcopal Palace and the Minor Basilica of the Cathedral in Melfi, an important historical site due to the councils and the Melfitan constitutions. Since 2000, the structure has been used for tourism hospitality, particularly social, cultural, religious, and youth tourism. Hostel Il Tetto embodies the joy of hospitality for those who wish to stay in Melfi; it is a characteristic and tranquil place to rest in a comfortable and sober environment, with excellent service quality. The structure is simple, discreet, and quiet, unique in its kind in the historic center of Melfi, just a stone's throw from the Cathedral and four from the Norman Swabian Castle, which houses the National Archaeological Museum of Melfi. There are 26 rooms available to meet various personal, group, and family needs. There are single-use double rooms, spacious and welcoming double, triple, quadruple, and quintuple rooms. Each room has private facilities, heating with automatic regulation or a fan depending on the season, color TV, desk, courtesy set, and telephone. Cribs or small beds are provided for children. Two rooms are designed for guests with reduced mobility. Moreover, pets are welcome with a small cleaning fee.
