Hiking
A medium-length stage with a reasonable elevation gain that takes place entirely within the territory of the Valle Cervo. After an initial stretch of gentle descent along a dirt road, the path leads to the village of Rosazza from where the uphill trail begins, reaching the cappenna of Madonna della Neve alongside a hiking refuge. From here, there is another descent into the Cervo valley until reaching the village of Piedicavallo, where the ascent along the Melogno stream resumes through a series of hamlets and then alpine pastures, eventually returning to the high-altitude landscapes where the Rifugio Rivetti is located.
