Hiking
With this long stage, characterized mainly by a descent in elevation, we leave the Simbruini Mountains to reach the plain of Carsoli, surrounded by the Carsoleani Mountains. From the Locanda dell’Orso, a short climb leads to the saddle below Colle Corizzi, where a long descent begins, passing through the towns of Camerata Nuova and Rocca di Botte before reaching the village of Pereto, where an ascent leads us over to the town of Carsoli along the highway that connects Rome and L'Aquila.
