A very long stage characterized by a moderate elevation gain that leads back into the interior of the island, reaching the beautiful Greek city of Segesta. From Scopello, head south initially on a carriage road and then on a trail until reaching a saddle at the base of Pizzo Varili, from which you descend to Visicari. Here, take the carriage road until you reach Castello di Baida. Once again, you climb along a carriage road to gain elevation, followed by a series of ups and downs until you arrive at Segesta. It is essential to visit the Archaeological Park established in 2013, where you can admire the Greek ruins of the temple, theatre, and other archaeological remains.
