Baccu Malu is one of the Seven Brothers, the peaks that characterize the granite massif rising in the southeastern tip of Sardinia. The final leg on the island presents no particular difficulties, especially since it mainly descends through the Montarbu forest up to Bruncu su Adulu, from which one can enjoy a splendid view of the destination. The trail ends near the penal agricultural colony, reclaimed in the 1800s and used until the 1950s when it was permanently closed. Today, it can be visited thanks to an interesting museum path.
