SI G20

A medium-length stage with a gentle elevation gain that reaches the panoramic summit of Monte Beigua before descending to Colle del Giovo. From Prato Rotondo, alternating sections of trail and dirt road lead to the summit of Beigua at 1287 meters above sea level, where the Santuario della Regina Pacis stands amidst numerous masts for telecommunications and broadcasting. It is indeed a place with commanding views of the coasts of Genoa and Savona, often extending to Corsica. From here, a long descent begins westward, passing by Bric Mondo and concluding at Giovo, which is an important pass connecting Albisola with Southern Piedmont.
