Another medium-length stage with negligible elevation gain that follows the route of the main channel of the Apulian Aqueduct. Along roads that are sometimes paved and sometimes unpaved, it heads northwest, bypassing the town of Locorotondo and crossing through fields and farmhouses. After passing the Strada Statale dei Trulli, you enter the territory of Alberobello. Following the dirt access road of the Apulian Aqueduct channel, you will traverse some of its most beautiful bridges spanning the valleys, particularly on the slopes of Monte Tondo. Next, you cross the Calmerio forest and a well-equipped playground before reaching the hamlet of Coreggia.
