A short stage with a predominantly downhill elevation that leaves the watershed and the border between Liguria and Emilia Romagna, delving into the territory of the Metropolitan City of Genoa. From Passo della Spingarda, a brief ascent leads near the summit of Monte Aiona, where the regional and provincial boundary is crossed to embark on a descent that passes by Passo Prè de Lame from the scenic peak of Monte delle Lame, descending to Passo delle Lame where the Bivacco Monte degli Abeti and the Cappelletta delle Lame are located.
