Hiking
This short stage with limited elevation gain takes place entirely in Switzerland. From Bosco/Gurin, the trail crosses the stream and begins to ascend through the forests that characterize the area. Upon reaching a saddle at around 2000 meters in altitude, the descent on the southern slope begins down to Campo di Vallemaggi, a tiny municipality in Ticino with just 56 residents. From here, the trail rises again towards Cimalmotto and the support point located just beyond the village.
