The Kugy Alpine Lodge has been created from the renovation of the old building that housed the village mill of Valbruna. Located at the entrance of the Saisera Valley and just steps away from the Alpe Adria Radweg (FVG1) cycling route, it aims to be the ideal starting and finishing point for those who love to explore the Julian Alps in every season. The managers will greet hikers with their smiles and philosophy: to provide a slow vacation, during which guests can recharge with new energy and fresh air. A large garden has been arranged for sunny days, where visitors can sit, relax, and enjoy a well-deserved gastronomic break. In the winter season, and for those who feel the cold more, an internal dining room will be available, comfortable and with a homely character. One of the main desires of the managers is to satisfy all tastes by offering a cuisine rooted in Friulian tradition and beyond. No one will leave with an empty stomach! And after indulging in a homemade dessert and grappa, it will be possible to rest in our pleasant rooms. They embody the true atmosphere of an alpine refuge and are suitable for children and people with disabilities. The Alpine Lodge is now also an educational center equipped with a large room with a screen and projector. The idea is to involve guests and utilize this space for workshops and events related to music, photography, and art.
