La Casa di Ro

N/A
La Casa di Ro is a B&B located in Petralia Sottana, in the province of Palermo. The building has been a historic residence of Roberto's family, the owner, who has recently restored it using cutting-edge techniques. It is a story of tradition combined with innovation, where themes such as energy savings and sustainability are at the forefront. These rooms will serve as the ideal base to explore a region rich in history, art, and natural beauty like the Madonie. Sustainability: Every aspect of the B&B "La Casa di Ro" has been designed to meet the needs of eco-compatibility and reduce environmental impact as much as possible. To this end, each room is equipped with a home automation system that allows for remote temperature control. Electricity within each room can also be activated or deactivated remotely. Each room is fitted with an electronic badge that, when inserted into the designated slot, powers the electricity in that room. Naturally, when the guest removes the badge, all electricity in the room is cut off after 30 seconds, preventing unnecessary energy consumption (like devices in standby mode or a light left on by mistake). There are also electronic sensors on the windows that, if opened for more than 30 seconds, deactivate the heating system until they are closed. Additionally, the entire structure has been built with materials designed to reduce environmental impact and effectively retain internal temperature, thanks to the insulating material present in the outer walls and the latest generation insulating frames. Measures have also been taken for water conservation through dual-flush toilets and aerators in each faucet.
