Residence Belvedere

Just a breath before getting lost among the alleys and streets of the medieval village, you will encounter the Residence Belvedere: a complex of mini-apartments designed to make your stay in Santo Stefano di Sessanio enjoyable. The property is approximately 400 meters from the arrival point of the SI P09 stage (Ofena – S. Stefano di Sessanio) and the departure of the SI P10 (S. Stefano di Sessanio – Rifugio Duca degli Abruzzi). It has been welcoming tourists and hikers since 2005 at its location on Via Roma, along the SP Barisciano – Castel del Monte, and in 3 apartments situated in the historical center of the medieval village. The name of the establishment, although common, was inspired by the stunning view enjoyed from the balconies: the medieval village, the Majella, the Sirente mountain range, and the valley (Viano) traversed during the SI P09 stage. We are in one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy and in the heart of the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park, at an elevation of 1251 meters. It has 8 apartments, of which 5 are on Via Roma and 3 in the historical center of the village. Each apartment consists of a fully equipped kitchen for meal preparation, private bathrooms, and a room with a double bed and a single bed (averaging 45 square meters). In addition to the necessary linens for the stay, guests are provided with essentials for preparing breakfast (milk, coffee, toast, artisanal cookies, jam, yogurt, and fruit juices). The property offers free high-speed wifi in each apartment. The apartments on Via Roma include a garden for relaxation, a solarium, a lounge area, and bike storage. The others feature a terrace with outdoor furniture. All measures against the spread of COVID-19 as dictated by the WHO, the ISS, various DPCM, and the Abruzzo Region are fully implemented.
