Rifugio Guido Muzio

The Guido Muzio Refuge is a structure of the Italian Alpine Club, CHIVASSO SECTION, located in the high Orco Valley, in the heart of the Piedmont region of the Gran Paradiso National Park. The Guido Muzio Refuge is a place of life, exchange, and shared passions, a safe haven of which we will be the guardians. It is a shelter for eating and sleeping but also a place with doors and windows that let in ideas, culture, and joy, while letting out memories, good flavors, and sensations to take home. Around the refuge, there are certainly no shortage of ways to enjoy the wild and protected nature of the Park: easy walks and guided excursions, trekking, climbing, alpinism, ski mountaineering, biking and MTB, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, ice climbing, or simply enjoying the tranquility of the mountains, perhaps in front of a steaming plate of polenta. The refuge offers a shuttle service for those walking the Sentiero Italia. For more information, please contact the facility by phone.
