Rifugio Malga Zanoni

N/A
Situated at about 1,100 meters above sea level, overlooking the Gulf of Tullio, the Malga Zanoni refuge features a large panoramic terrace that offers an unobstructed view of the sea and the mountains separating it from the coast. Behind it, ancient beech forests stretch out, crossed by water-rich streams (with pools and waterfalls), and trails lead up to the Aiona and Penna mountains, towards other valleys in the park and in Emilia Romagna. The Alta Via dei Monti Liguri is only a 30-minute walk away. The refuge is equipped to accommodate horses and charge electric bikes; a ten-minute walk takes you to a canyoning route. At Malga Zanoni, it is possible to stay overnight or stop for lunch, snacks, and dinner (by reservation). The cuisine combines local tradition with creative touches that enhance the area’s products and the wild herbs that grow near the refuge. Bed capacity: 24. One double room and three dormitories with 6, 7, and 9 beds. Each room has en-suite bathrooms with hot showers and services. Opening: every weekend from Easter to the end of June and from September to early November. Daily from the end of June to early September (updated details are available on the website). Reduced rates for Cai, Arci, and Giovane Montagna members.
