Rifugio passo del Vivione

The Vivione Refuge is located on the plateau of the Vivione Pass, between the Valle di Scalve and the Valle Camonica, near the town of Schilpario (BG). The Vivione Refuge has been managed with dedication and passion by the Pizio family for over 40 years. The refuge features a bar, two dining rooms, and a panoramic sun terrace where you can dine outdoors. The dishes are made with fresh pasta and traditional recipes, accompanied by polenta and wild herbs, mountain cheeses, and excellent homemade cakes. It is possible to stay overnight in cozy rooms, which include bathrooms with showers and hot water. Bedding is provided. The refuge is accessible by car along the former SS 294 road. The route is beautiful for motorcyclists and cyclists. Various hiking trails of differing difficulties start from here: from the easiest, taking about 1 hour to the more challenging ones, which take up to 4 hours.
