Rifugio Quinto Alpini

Nestled in the silent and wild Val Zebrù, the CAI Quinto Alpini Bertarelli Hut (2877m) is a destination and base camp for families, hikers, and mountaineers who are passionate about the true essence of the mountains. Located on a rocky spur overlooking the Bernina, in the heart of the Stelvio National Park, it offers a family-friendly atmosphere, typical Valtellina cuisine, breathtaking views, and total immersion in nature with the alpine flora and fauna. Foxes, ibexes, stoats, and bearded vultures are just some of the animals that can be spotted along the trail leading to the hut. It serves as both a destination and a starting point. From the hut, numerous hikes and ascents are possible (Giro del confinale, to the Pizzini Hut for the Zebrù Passes, Monte Zebrù, Thurweiser, Suldengrat - Gran Zebrù).
