Complete route without using the Canin cable car. We start just above the Canin cable car station where trail 635 begins, leading us under the Bila Pec foothills to the Gilberti hut, located in a beautiful karst basin. We are entering the Friuli Venezia Giulia Regional Park. (Canin cable car arrival) From the Gilberti hut, we follow trail 632, which quickly ascends to Sella Bila Pec, continuing through a sea of karst stones. We skirt the basin that once contained the Canin glacier (only a remnant remains) to eventually reach the Marussich bivouac. At Sella Grubia, we continue on trail 634, which descends the slopes of Mount Sart with steep switchbacks and then more gently, leading us to the village of Ladina and then to Stolvizza. Just after crossing Stolvizza, trail 662A starts on the left side of the road descending the valley. We reach the village of Zamlin, cross the paved road, and on the right, we take a short stretch of trail 662. Soon on the left, trail 662B begins, which, through a beautiful environment of black pine and broadleaf trees, reaches the village of Prato di Resia. In the square, there is the Park's guesthouse.
