From the square of the Castelmonte sanctuary, take trail 748 continuing along the asphalt road that leads to Cividale. After about 400 meters, turn left onto a forest road to reach the church of the Three Kings. Continuing downhill, you will pass through the villages of Fragielis and Stregna. Then, on an asphalt section, you will reach the intersection with the village of S. Pietro di Chiazzacco. A recent closure on private land, within a large property, of the CAI 748 trail even for pedestrian passage (disruptive intrusion from motorcycles and mountain bikes) requires you to reach Centa solely along the asphalt road until the Bucuviza junction, then take the old municipal road "Sentiero AAT" to the village of Centa, where you will meet the original CAI 748 trail - (signs and markers are available on-site). Finally, you will reach the settlement of Albana / Prepotto, and the trail ends at the bridge over the Judrio River.
