Hiking
A moderately long stage with a descent only. From the Lagazuoi refuge, descend to Forcella Travenanzes, where you enter the valley of the same name that winds between the Dolomite massifs of Tofane and Lagazuoi. Walk at the foot of Castelletto, one of the peaks where a long and dramatic episode of World War I took place. The trail continues downward through the valley, first presenting high mountain scenery characterized by rocky terrain and a lunar landscape, and then gradually enters the woods until reaching the state road that connects Cortina d'Ampezzo with Dobbiaco, and shortly after, the Rifugio Ospitale.
