Hiking
From below (1925 m – agriturismo), descend along route 115B through the woods of Val Malgazza, until reaching the bottom of the enclosed Val di Bresimo. You will pass through the villages of Bagni (once a spa center) and then Fontana (1039 m), to arrive at Bevia, the main center where there is a grocery store and a small restaurant-inn. From here, trail 149 begins, ascending to the large building of Maso di Castel Basso, crossing the ruins of the Altaguarda Castle (1273 m), which offers a panoramic view of Val di Non, passing by the Bassetta Giovel saddle (1580 m) and reaching Malga Stablei (1768 m). From this splendid observation point over the Maddalene, descend via the steep trail 148 towards Fontane (1099 m), located at the bottom of Val Lavazzè, to continue comfortably.
