From the Oltradigfe Refuge to Roen, continue south on the equipped trail 560, "dei Camosci," until reaching the panoramic point Testa Nera (2030 m); from here, head south on trail 500, which passes by Bocca di Val Calana (1844 m) and Coste Belle, descending to Passo Predaia (1639 m). Leaving trail 526 to the right towards Malga di Tres and Refuge Predaia, continue with several undulations climbing up to Corno di Tres (1812 m), another stunning viewpoint overlooking the Adige valley. Upon reaching Sella di Favogna – Fenner Joch (1563 m), leave trail 500 and descend via trail no. 3 to the small plateau of Favogna di sopra – Oberfennberg (1163 m), and then to the lower area of Favogna di sotto – Unterfennberg (1047 m), a typically South Tyrolean hamlet where time seems to have stood still. For those wishing to continue the stage while avoiding the more challenging trail 560 "dei Camosci" or for those intending to ascend to the summit of Monte Roen, it is recommended to return to Malga di Romeno and follow trail 500, which crosses over Monte Roen and then descends to the viewpoint of Testa Nera-Schwarzer Kopf, where the Camosci Trail also arrives. Allow for an extra hour of walking if needed.
