Stage 8 follows the signs 502B, 502A, 507, and SI. Starting from the peaceful plateau of Favogna (1039 m), with the characteristic church of San Leonardo, you will take a path heading south that gently descends towards the locality of Tratt. Here, you leave the main route (sign 502) that leads to the nearby Hofstatt farm, known for its vineyard located over 1000 meters above sea level, and take the 502B sign, which descends along an ancient mule track. Continuing on, you reach the basin of Pianizzia by following the 502A trail, which passes at the base of the impressive Zambel waterfall (655 m). From here, you proceed on a dirt road, partly paved, that crosses the bottom of the Val dei Molini, leading to the town of Roveré della Luna (287 m). This is the last Trentino village, situated on a wide alluvial fan. Continuing on, you enter the Adige valley at the point of the "gorge of Salorno." Via secondary roads that run alongside apple orchards and the flat valley bottom of the Adige, you arrive at Salorno (226 m), dominated to the south by the castle of the same name.
