From the Cima d’Asta “O. Brentari” Refuge (2474 m), follow path 386 that crosses granite rock formations until you reach the Forcella del Passetto (2490 m). From here, take the Giuseppina Negrelli trail (it. 387), which descends through a steep channel and a short equipped section down to the Forcella di Val Regana (2040 m). This pass, rich in evidence from World War I, marks the beginning of the long route along trail 338. Following the slopes of Val Regana, descend through the narrow wooded valley until you reach the Ponte di Val Regana (1279 m). From there, a right turn along a forest road leads to the Svaizera pass (1005 m), where the same-named huts offer a view of the village of Caoria. Continuing on the final stretch of mule track, you reach the Ponte Belfe in the valley crossed by the Vanoi Stream (859 m) and, finally, the center of the village of Caoria (848 m) along a short stretch of paved road.
