Hiking
From Monteviasco, you traverse the two slopes of the wooded valley of the Viascola stream, which is on the left side of the Valle Veddasca, until you reach the huts of Viasco. From there, you descend on a paved road to Curiglia (670m), and then continue uphill on the paved road towards Sarona. Before reaching Sarona, take the steep mule track on the left that leads from Alpe Ca' del Sasso to the huts of Alpone (1250m), featuring the chapel of Madonna della Guardia. You continue on a contour path through the beech forest at the foot of Monte Lema until you reach Rifugio Campiglio at Pradecolo.
