Hiking
From the departure point (boarding Varenna), follow the signs for Vezio. At the exit of the hamlet, follow the signs for the Sentiero Viandante towards Esino-Ortanella. You will come to a fork where a path branches off with an arrow pointing to Esino. Take this path and continue along the hillside almost to the village. Descending into the valley, you will encounter another fork. Take the path on the left, passing by the ruins of ancient mills, and with a steep climb, you will arrive in the village. Then follow the map indications. The path is not currently marked as SI. In winter, be cautious on the Vezio-Esino stretch. In the event of snow or severe frost, it can become dangerous as it is exposed to the north.
