On this medium-length stage with a mostly downhill elevation change, you leave behind the heights between Lake Como and Lake Lugano, descending near Menaggio before veering towards the village of Cardano. From the Boffalora Refuge, a long arc is made at the foot of Monte Galbiga, reaching the steep slope of Monte di Tremezzo overlooking the village of Mezzegra. Continuing parallel to the western shore of Lake Como, you arrive at the Croce di Menaggio hamlet and make your way to Cardano via road.
