In inverno è consigliabile percorrere il sentiero basso che passa per l'alpe monte Codeno perché dalla bocchetta di Piancaformia per raggiungere il rif. Bogani sussiste il pericolo slavine.

This short stage, but with significant elevation gain, leads to the slopes of Grigna. From Cainallo, you ascend to the Bocchetta di Cino and continue uphill to the Bocchetta di Prada, where a ridge trek begins leading to the Belvedere and the Bocchetta di Piancaformia. Then you cross over to the Rifugio Arnaldo Bocani, from where the final uphill section begins, traversing the rocky terrain towards the Rifugio Brioschi. We are at one of the historic departure points for ascents to Grigna, built by the Cai Milano in 1881.
