Hiking
Another relatively long stage with intermediate elevation gain that is always walked along the slopes overlooking the lake, concluding at the northernmost point of Lake Como. From the village of Peglio, the trail leads to the Valle di Livo and Dangri, known for its characteristic stone bridge. After crossing this bridge, the path soon begins to climb, connecting the higher fractions of the area at over 1000 meters above sea level. Staying at altitude, you traverse the valleys of San Vincenzo and Sorico to reach Fordeccia, located beneath Monte Berlinghera. It is here that the Sentiero Italia starts its descent towards the village of Sorico for a final farewell to Lake Como, which has been accompanied during the many previous stages.
