Hiking
From the Calvi hut (2050 m), descend to Lake Rotondo, cross its outlet, and head towards the wooded slope of the F. Brembo valley, which you traverse gently downhill until reaching the Baite del Poris (1956 m). Now begin to climb up the valley, intersect the 246 trail, and cross the river at about 2030 m. Continuing onward, you'll reach the plateau located between the peaks of Pizzo del Diavolo and Pizzo Poris (intersection with trail 248). Aim for the valley that leads to the Valsecca Pass (2496 m), which you ascend through a series of switchbacks. From the pass, a spectacular viewpoint, you descend on the Valsecca side over rocky terrain and grass, quickly leading you to the Frattini bivouac (2125 m). From the bivouac, continue descending with a few curves to the lower meadows and further down at a gentle slope until you reach the valley of Salto (approximately 1900 m). After crossing this valley, climb initially with a steeper incline, then more gently, to traverse the entire ridge descending from Pizzo Gro and Cima Soliva, eventually arriving at the intersection with trail 227 that ascends from Fiumenero and, shortly after, to the Baroni al Brunone hut (2295 m). This stage closely follows the Sentiero delle Orobie occidentali.
