Hiking
This is a short stage with a predominantly downhill elevation gain, transferring towards the heights above the ski resorts of Chiesa Valmalenco. From the Longoni Refuge, you head east towards the Entovasco stream, then turn south to follow the slopes along the Mallero stream valley. After passing the Alpe Sasso Nero, you reach a viewpoint of Lake Palù, nestled in a beautiful basin surrounded by pastures and coniferous forests. On its northern shore stands the homonymous welcoming refuge.
