The trail no. 606 (formerly 6) leads to Pescarzo, where you descend through the ancient village and continue down Via Pedina, following the old mule track until you reach Cemmo. From there, by descending the streets of the village, you reach Capo di Ponte, and after crossing the state road 42, you head up to the entrance of the National Park of Rock Engravings (a visit is recommended). Just before entering the park, there is a path into the woods (marked by white and yellow signs) that you follow up to the higher village of Cimbergo, from where you can reach the De Marie al Volano refuge via a road that is paved in sections (sv no. 666 formerly 16 in the last stretch). From here, on a dirt road, you cross the upper Val Zumella and reach the Colombè refuge.
