From the Città di Lissone hut, the route to the Garibaldi hut follows the Alta Via dell'Adamello (trail no. 601 ex 1). The trail ascends the Adamè Valley until reaching Baita Adamè, then continues briefly along the valley floor before bending left and steeply climbing to the Passo di Poia (2775 m), which separates the Adamè Valley from the Val Salarno. The last stretch of the ascent and the first part of the descent traverse extensive scree slopes (challenging and dangerous rocky areas). Once past the boulders, you quickly reach the Prudenzini hut.
