Hiking
This stage, short and with manageable elevation changes, ventures into the stunning karst valleys descending from the peaks of Saline, Pian Ballaur, and Marguareis. From the Mondovì Hut, the route begins to ascend towards Porta Biecai, which overlooks the ephemeral lake of the same name, as it appears and disappears depending on the season. The trail continues by traversing the slopes of the amphitheater that opens up below Colle del Pas until reaching Porta Sestrera, from which the descent towards Rifugio Garelli begins. This leads into the territory of the Marguareis Natural Park.
