A medium-length stage with a moderate ascent and significant descent. It runs alongside the Argentera massif, the highest peak in the area and a symbol of the Maritime Alps Natural Park. Leaving the Rifugio Genova Figari, the trail retraces part of the previous stage until reaching the artificial structures of the Chiotas Dam. Here, turn left and pass through these structures to enter the Vallone del Chiapous. The path follows the imposing peaks of Argentera Meridionale and Settentrionale, as well as Monte Stella, leading to Colle del Chiapous from where the long descent into Vallone di Lourusa begins, all the way to the Terme di Valdieri. The environment in the upper part is wild, characterized by rocky fields and debris. Continuing, you first pass by the Rifugio Morelli Buzzi and then arrive near the Lagarot lakes of Lourousa, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the northern wall of Corno Stella and the Lourousa Channel, also spotting the Bivacco Varrone. The descent continues along a comfortable path, which becomes shady with the appearance of vegetation, leading to the Terme di Valdieri where you can spend the night at the Rifugio Casa Savoia.
