Hiking
The first stage entirely within the Province of Turin is relatively short but features an intermediate elevation gain and a long descent. From the Rifugio Barbara, you initially head north until you reach the path that leads to the Rifugio Willy Jervis via Rifugio Barant and the homonymous pass. Shortly after crossing the pass, the Bruno Peyronel Botanical Garden is worth a stop. From Col Barant (2294 m), the descent begins, first leading to the beautiful Conca del Pra, where you can stop at Rifugio Jervis for a break. Afterward, the Sentiero Italia enters the valley towards Villanova, which can be traversed along the dirt road on the left bank or along the path on the right bank.
