A transfer stage from the head of the Valle dell’Orco to the valley floor, following a short and gently sloping route along the south-facing slope. This route is significant from a landscape perspective as it delves into the rocks and cliffs that marked an important era of climbing in Italy, starting in the 1970s when the Nuovo Mattino movement emerged in Piedmont, finding in the slabs of Sergent and Caporal a terrain to develop a new approach to climbing focused on the movement rather than the destination. In particular, the Sentiero Italia passes above these formations before descending to the village of Noasca.
