This stage should also be considered a transfer along the Valle dell’Orco, covering 13 kilometers with a moderate elevation change, leading to the hamlet of San Lorenzo in the wild and rocky Vallone di Piantonetto. From Noasca, the route descends on the north-facing side of the valley, running parallel to the state road. At Prà, you cross the Orco river and the state road, then continue uphill on the opposite side until reaching the Sanctuary of Sant’Anna in the Meinardi hamlet. From there, you follow a hilly path heading east to descend toward the hamlet of San Lorenzo, which is reached by following a stretch of dirt road.
