Hiking
A short stage but with a significant elevation gain that leads near the Passo del Monte Moro along the slopes crossed by the ski facilities (2 cable cars). Starting from Macugnaga, a steep winding ascent on a mule track takes you to Alpe Bill, where the intermediate station of the lifts is located. First, following the lift's route and then straying from it, you head north until you reach the Ruppenstein lift (chairlift), which you follow until the Oberto - Maroli hut, managed by the C.A.I. section of Macugnaga. Throughout the ascent, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the legendary east face of Monte Rosa and the increasingly suffering Belvedere Glacier.
