This rather short stage is characterized by a descent only, leading to the bottom of the Val Vigezzo. We are in the Valley of the Painters, which becomes evident as we pass through the villages, especially the churches along the way. Craveggia, Zormasco, and Villette are charming hamlets, and then we reach the Re Sanctuary, a recent monumental work.
