Attualmente non è presente segnaletica SICAI. Seguire quella delle AV1 e AV2. In periodo tardo primaverile inizio estate, prestare attenzione ai versanti esposti a NORD che potrebbero presentare ancora neve e quindi potenzialemente pericolosi.

With this short stage and a descent-only elevation change, the Sentiero Italia descends towards the large tourist and ski resort of La Thuile. From Deffeyes, the access path to the hut begins with a winding descent along a stony slope down to Pian de la Liere, complete with its small lake and marshes. It then ventures into the woods, passing by the characteristic three waterfalls of Rutor until it reaches the village of La Joux, where a carriage road begins, alternating with sections of trail until La Thuile.
