Attualmente non è presente segnaletica SICAI. Seguire quella delle AV1 e AV2. In periodo tardo primaverile inizio estate, prestare attenzione ai versanti esposti a NORD che potrebbero presentare ancora neve e quindi potenzialemente pericolosi.

On this moderately long stage, with a descent only, we return to the valley floor beneath the Colle del Gran San Bernardo. From Rifugio Frassati, we take the path that descends eastward. We cross the beautiful Comba de Merdeux and continue for a stretch of switchbacks, gradually turning south before heading east again, passing through the village of Alpe Merdeux Inferiore. Soon, we reach the Crevacol ski area, where we take the cart road towards the village of Saint Rhémy.
