SI F15

This medium-length stage features a moderate elevation gain and takes us along the right side of the Valtournenche. We leave the Rifugio Cuney heading north, traversing the slopes at mid-level until we reach Col Terray at 2775 meters, where a short descent leads to Lago di Luseney, home to the Bivacco Luca Reboulaz. After a few ups and downs at mid-level, we arrive at the Fenetre du Tzan pass at 2736 meters. We then trace a long arc, passing Lago di Tzan and staying above the Ru de Verrayes before taking a farm road that leads to the Fenetre d’Ersaz pass at 2290 meters. A final descent takes us to Alpe Cortinaz Inferiore, where the last ascent leads to Rifugio Barmasse on the shores of Lago di Cignana.
