SI G04

A short stage with a small elevation gain takes the Sentiero Italia into the Parco Naturale Regionale d’Aveto. From Colla Craiolo, a steeper ascent leads back up to reach the 1400 meters above sea level at Monte Zatta di Levante before descending to Passo del Bocco, where the Rifugio Antonio Devoto is located for overnight stays. This area is part of the protected zone established by the Province of Genoa in 1995 to safeguard the territories of Val d’Aveto, Valle Sturla, and Val Graveglia, along with their great geological, faunistic, and floral diversity.
