SI G18

A medium-length stage with elevation gain that runs parallel to the unpaved road of the Passo del Faiallo through the Beigua Regional Natural Park. From the Passo del Turchino, the route ascends westward until reaching the remains of Forte Geremia, built by the military engineering of the Kingdom of Italy at the end of the 19th century, where a refuge now stands. The ascent continues to Monte Giallo, passing near Bric del Dente, from where some sections of the unpaved road lead to Passo del Faiallo at 1044 meters above sea level.
