SI G24

A moderately long stage with a small elevation gain that runs entirely along the watershed separating the Bormida valley from the inland areas of Finale. From the Colla di San Giacomo, you pass in front of the entrance to the cave of the same name and climb to the summit of Brica Praboe before descending to Colla Praboe and Colla di Cravarezza. Amid panoramic views and wind turbines, you reach the former NATO base for telecommunications and continue to the Rifugio Pian dei Corsi. Next, there is a stretch parallel to the dirt road that takes you back above 1000 meters above sea level, arriving at Colle di Melogno, which connects Finale Ligure with Val Bormida and Val Tanaro.
