SI G25

A short stage with a minimal elevation gain that consistently stays above 1000 meters in altitude, proceeding in a southwest direction beyond the Finalese. From the Colle di Melogno, you enter the beautiful state forest of Barbottino, passing near the abandoned forts of Tortagna and Merizzo. Skirting the base of Monte Grosso and the Balzi Rossi, you cross a plateau known as Piano del Lupo before reaching the Giogo di Giustenice at the foot of Monte Carmo di Loano.
