Hiking
A moderately long stage with a slight elevation gain, taking place entirely within the Casentino Forests Park, reaching just below 1500 meters above sea level. From Badia Prataglia, the trail ascends to the ridge between Tuscany and Emilia Romagna, where a short detour leads to the symbolic Eremo di Camaldoli, a site worth visiting. The route then returns to the ridge near Gioghetto and continues past the Giogo di Seccheta towards the summit of Poggio Scali at 1520 meters. From there, it passes close to the top of Poggio Pian Tombesi before descending to the road pass of Passo della Calla.
