Hiking
This stage at the border between Marche and Lazio is of medium length with a slight elevation gain. Starting from Colle Arquata (983 m) on the paved road that leads from Colle towards the village of Spelonga, you will follow it for 1,800 m. Upon reaching the area of Fontanelle (1030 m), turn right onto a clearly visible trail to reach the village of Grisciano. You will cross the Salaria highway and the Tronto River. From there, take the uphill path keeping to the left of Colle Petrone and Colle Rapina until you arrive at Colle del Moro (899 m). Continue heading southwest, ascending Colle Forcella and Colle Lattanzi (1,117 m). Now the trail heads south, passing by Fonte Crocetta and Fonte Cupo until you reach the area of Madonna delle Coste (1,016 m).
