SI N09

A long stage characterized by intermediate elevation gain, continuing north along the ridge of the Tadinati Apennines that borders the plain between Nocera Umbra and Gualdo Tadino to the east. From Bagnara, the path leads north to the Passo del Termine, where it enters the woods alongside the Cima del Pormaiore. With a rolling ups and downs route, one arrives at Pian di Faeto and continues north to the Val del Pero pass. Passing under the summit of Monte Nero and circling around the summit of Monte Serra Santa, one visits the namesake sanctuary and continues to the Valsorda area where the Rifugio Monte Maggio is located for overnight stay.
