SI N11

A rather long stage, but characterized by a reduced elevation change, predominantly descending northward through the Monte Cucco Regional Park. From the village of Val di Ranco, the trail involves ups and downs while crossing an ancient beech forest towards Monte Cucco, whose peak is circumnavigated at mid-altitude along the eastern slope. The path continues around Monte Le Gronde, reaching Pian di Spilli. The summit of Monte Giovannello is left on the left to arrive at the spring at Pian di Rolla under Monte Motette. The trail continues eastward, descending to the village of Col di Peccio and then northward, still descending until reaching the Sentino River, which is followed upstream on the right bank until the village of Isola Fossara.
